Introduction
The regional advantages of Liaoning province are harbors and necessary
facilities for setting up effective and efficient regional logistics systems.
On base of regional advantages the conference focuses on four platforms
as the logistics policies, transportation, information technology and
management platform, in order to improve logistics service. It aims at
providing terrific opportunities for researchers, practitioners and the
government. The researchers can benefit from investigations and focuses
on the problems provided by logistics company (et al) and the government.
The logistics company (et al) can understand more about the-state-of-the-art
of how to manage a company, and can provide, for the decision department,
the policies they need, especially after China entered WTO. In order to
compete in the international market, the government will establish the
Logistics Policies that work for the entire region. The theme of this
conference is ‘Regional Logistics Policies, Logistics Industry and Supply
Chain Management’. The working language of the conference is English.
(Many pioneers in supply chain management will be invited to the conference.
Some editors in Management Science, associate editors of Automatica, IEEE
